sooooo
whenever somebody shows me something sad that makes them cry or feel emotional....i don't feel anything.....
it's hard for me to show empathy a lot of times even though i do feel bad for them and want to say something....
i don't even cry at funerals....
am i emotionless......i mean i do feel sad at those times....but i only cry when i'm stressed out....am i broken....or is this just who i am and have to be....

empathy is about the ability to understand the perspectives and emotions of others, and place yourself in their shoes. if you care about or feel bad for people in times of distress and sadness, that means you do have empathy you just maybe don't express it the same way or struggle to show it
