I am not feeling PD x 101 (1 Viewer)

It seems kinda bland to me.

None of the trainees really caught my eye
Nobody really stood out that much (At least in a good way)
The trainees seem generally weak
I don't like the X rank system (But I do like the 11th member being the one with the most votes overall)

But then again some people said the same thing about P48 so I'll prolly just end up watching X too lol

I'll probably do what I usually do watch up till like the second challenge then give up.

48 was better imo, some trainees caught my eye straight away, either with their talent or with how fun and loveable they are! In this one... not really liking any of them so far!

nobody is totally sure what the X rank means. Its been rumored it means the trainees are eliminated but some are saying they just are not allowed to stay in the produce dorms for some reason

Exactly.

I'm hoping its the second thing, even if I don't understand it. Too many good trainees do bad the first audition but prove themselves later so getting rid of them immediately is just stupid (also pointless).

Seem weak? You have really high standards. There are a lot of talented guys from previously debuted groups.. One of them ranked A on PD X 101 and won Nugu Male Vocal Idol battle on this forum many times in a row.

No. It means they can't train together with other trainees in the same building. They're punished for that.

There are a few talented ones, (they are good, but I am not totally blown away yet) but I am talking about the general image I am getting.

Honestly, it's pointless to assume it based on the first episode. I would know better than anything since I watched S2 when it aired and followed W1 as a group (they had Guanlin who was F, Minhyun D, Jinyoung F, Jisung F) but man, I'm so proud of both Jinyoung and Guanlin, both of them improved so much, especially Jinyoung who would lack a lot of confidence at first. A lot of these boys, while being a laughing stock in the first episode or second, will end up improving. Some of these Starship boys ended up going from X/D to A in the second evaluation. And I'm sure that some of the boys who were shown as weak, will get an arc, where they improve by a lot.

A former broduce contestant said that something happed to another contestant right before minhyun went. I say this becouse seeing him and BoA preform he is no way D

It makes sense! Minhyun definitely isn't D but something bothered him so much that he just couldn't do any better.
