<3 yep, it's because of SCHOOOOL we were supposed to have our exams today and tomorrow (4 subjects today, and another 4 tomorrow), but we didn't take any today because our classes were canceled today

omg, I've been sick too! when I was sick, my highest body temperature was 39.9 I'm not 100% recovered too :< I still have a cough and a lil cold, I hope we both get well soon

do you not want to celebrate Christmas with your family ? I don't really plan anything for Christmas, I just spend it with my family
but since I finally have irl friends, I'll probably have a countdown video call with my friends lol

I think you misunderstood what I wrote on my original post. I said that my family doesnt celebrate Christmas, so therefore I’m just gonna be chilling like I do during a normal day for this Christmas season like I always do every year

Nah fuck those final exams seriously cuz when I was in yr 12 I did nothin’ to prepare for them nor did I bother spending my time studying for them like I literally gave NO shits abt getting a good ass ATAR for these deadass shits like I just didn’t care about not going into an undergrad course anymore, I just wanted to get into something that I find a lot more easier for me to do, like a CERT IV course type of thing. I’m sure even if you don’t get the ATAR that meets the prerequisites, you might as well get into the early entry ones like CERT IV or diploma or smth

Girl the fucking competition it breeds is wild like I go to a public school, but it's a public school in such an academic area that we got two types of people: people who don't give a shit and are trying their best (me), people who are TOO UP THEIR ASSES IN THEIR RANKINGS LIKE GIRL IT'S ONLY HIGH SCHOOL (also me). The whole system (espeically hsc don't get me started on this shit) just breeds fucking competitiveness AND THE SUBJECT SCALING HELLO!? HOW THE HELL IS BIOLOGY AND PDHPE SO LOW WHEN THEY'RE HARD AF?!?!?! Sorry I can go on all day about this shit

cert IV is tafe right? I'm honestly considering doing tafe after uni cause I'm going to uni for the fun of it. As in, idk what job I'll get out of it I just wanna go cause I like what I'm gonna study (linguistics, fingers crossed). I wouldn't mind being a librarian. But I know that though there aren't much jobs in linguistics it's such a niche area that I'll probably find something

Girl honestly I wish I have that mindset, but the ATAR is in 10 days and that's all I have on my mind. I just need 80. That's all I need. Fucking hate how I'm being compared to other students though.
