I’m just gonna make this short… For two months I’ve been hooking up with my guy friend and less than 2 weeks ago he tells me he has feelings for me, and I told them I felt the same.

Now we are in this weird limbo where we aren’t bf/gf but we go on dates and have fun
Three days ago my co-worker told me she has a crush on my guy friend
(She met him through a mutual friend party and social media)

Now here where things get messy. She wants me to ask my guy friend on a date for her. Since she said shes very shy with him. (Even though she’s very flirtatious)

Now our Mutual friend ‘A’ who friends with all three of us confessed she told my co worker about me and the guy friend. ‘A’ told me my co-worker said and I quote “Well I’ll just have to ask him out before they become offical.”



So if she was going to ask him out why did she want me to do it for her? Why did she act like my guy friend and I don’t have anything?? Is she playing a game-

EDIT: I would like to point out Her and I aren’t friends because of past situations at work. I just keep a neutral relationship with her.

I hope for that too. But with past situations with her idk. One time she gotten me written up because it was slow and I was on phone reading. yeah it was my fault. We’re not supposed to be on our phones but she’s on her phone all the time.

She asked you to see if u are a pushover or not. If u hesitate then as she said to ur common friend, she would charge and steal the guy. You dont have to disclose ur relationship, but u can also say that u are not setting ppl up, that's her job to ask someone out.

Also ask ur significant other if u guys wanna be official, not to force it, but just so u are reassured that both of u feel the same way.

I mean dating implies going out and spending time together and if you hang out at your local joint or whatever then people will see and talk no?
and like your female friend who has an apparently crush on your "date" so isn't it better to cut to the chase otherwise you might have other people either going after your date or even you lol

I think in terms you and your "date" it's probably best you speak to him about what is your relationship - I think the main thing to discuss is exclusivity and whether you and him want to be exclusive or not...
