What are aome examples of the foods (or at least your favourites)?

In Christmas, since it's summer here, Aussies prefer having a lunch rather than a dinner many of the times. Foods include more summary stuff. We have ham sure, but prawns, fish, refreshing salads, chicken, etc. Nothing like turkey or anything wintery. Desserts include fruits, ice cream, and pavlova.

We do both. Basically the whole family comes over, bringing their own dish, whilst we have our own dishes then we FEAST like KINGS

That’s actually pretty cool. We all make breakfast together after opening presents

we call it chinese new year
it's celebrated around end of january / early feb (it fluctuates year to year)

one interesting fact is that your chinese zodiac changes depending on if you were born prior to that that or post that date

To piggyback off the piggyback, thats why we had people posting idols who were not in the year of the zodiac animal we had for the card challenge, because they tried using the calendar typically used in the west (for example, an idol was born in mid January 1995 and they put them for year of the pig, when that idol would be the year of the dog because the year of the pig started on January 31st 1995). honestly I never thought too much about it before so I probably could have been that person myself

They have Ded Moroz (Grandfather Frost, basically Santa) and his granddaughter Snegurochka. They're basically Slavic Santa plus his helper, but usually used for New Years rather than Christmas.

I think she typically has blue and white with gold sometimes. Her name comes from the word snow (sneg) so I think shes associated with blue and white
