As somebody who has lived in America
We use the 12AM 12PM clock

but I look around the world and see people using the 24 Hour clock,AND IT MAKES SO MUCH MORE SENSE😭 like I wanna use that clock Americans always have to be ✨different✨

Well, as a fellow 'murican, I refuse to unlearn what's been ingrained in my mind many years ago.
In other words, I don't like change. I'll stick to the 12-hour system and the Imperial measurement system.
Also, Pluto is still a planet.

OMG really funny thing...

So we flew out to South Carolina for a family reunion on my father's side and when we were planning on going back, our parents woke us up super early because we were expecting an 8am flight. We got into the airport, checked in and everything and no one told us but apparently our flight was set for 8PM and not am...

We were just so used to plane tickets having times in a 24 hour clock and not a 12 hour clock.

And you can't leave after getting your ticket due to security reasons so we were trapped in the airport for THIRTEEN HOURS. It was hell even though we worked and slept and ate and played games and walked around but it was still the worst experience. I was just so ready to get home tbh.

The way we figured it out was that we headed to our gate and were waiting to board and we saw that absolutely no one else was there. So we looked on the TV and saw that there was no plane departing to where we were heading at this time.

It was...
It disrupted our eating schedule too because the only fast food restaurant was Chick-Fil-A (it was a pretty small airport) so we pretty much just had one big meal and a lot of snacks.

And you get bored of just looking at your phone the whole time. I tried reading, walking around, sleeping but I just hated being in the same place doing nothing the whole time. The airport is good for maybe 2-4 hours. Not 13!!

I will never do something like that again T-T I will make sure that everything is correct before even heading to an airport.

The 24 hour clock is what we use in Europe but I always thought the 12 hour clock was easier to understand
