As well as you, both Moguri and MK3AM were surprised that I wasn't nominated and thought I should have been. Basically, you aren'tthe only one who feels that way.

I think they need to open the pool of noms and maybe have a limit on how many noms a user can have, just for more variety

They already did that for the nomination period. You could nominate up to five people per category, even yourself, you just can't vote for yourself or more than one person.
