I don't really think we are like this

French are separate in two kind

People who live around paris etc... Who are distant

And people in the south (where i live) where we are not distant but many student foreigner for example are shocked because in contrary of the north we are very direct in the sense that if we like or don't like something we will not use hundreds way to say it which make that people think that in the south we are also distant but it's not the case

But many people don't know this distinction because they only visit paris (which is not even one of the most beautiful city of France)
