also, if non-spoken-word intros count: s.e.s - show me your love (the lead single of their 4th studio album 'a letter from greenland', which also gave us be natural). iconic because it's a cover of a japanese song, 'tsutsumikomu yo ni' by the singer misia. the japanese producer did not believe a korean could hit the high notes the song began with. s.e.s's extremely talented and headstrong main vocal and leader, bada, thought otherwise. she stayed up all night practicing them, and made the producer's jaw drop in the recording booth the next morning. queen shit, tbh
