We have been accepted into a new ad publisher program with media.net, we have our own dedicated account manager who will work with us throughout our time here to optimise our ads, the codes are async which should not affect our page load speeds, we hope through this, we will be one step closer to a self sustaining forum that will last a decade or more. ill turn off my adblocker if it means that this site is getting supported, the only reason why i have an adblocker in the first place is because sites slow down with ads, but if is gonna be the same speed then theres no reason for me to have my ad blocker on

It was bit weird for me cause even when the ads were supposed to be up, I couldn't see any. Maybe it was regional thing. But i'm seeing them now and they look pretty non-disruptive. Well for some reason the main page gives me mostly non-sense ads, like this one about dresses for 65+ women, I'm old but not that old ..pages seem to have ads that are legit, in my language, from products I know exist xd Overall I'm fine as long as they aren't nsfw, pop-ups or bring viruses though so those nonsense one's aren't issue either.

It will be bit interesting to see what they will be. And well although sometimes bit random at times, they are still lot more accurate than in lot of places (who usually try to offer me asian or russian women to meet).

Just an update, we had to pause the ads and remove the spotify now playing as they are the main cause of site slowing down.
