I used to stan Iz*One, but since I usually go for groups over soloists, I've only followed Yujin, Wonyoung, Sakura, and Chaewon beyond that. Unless some others are in groups, but I just haven't heard about it?

My types of stanning groups are only purchasing their music and watching their content.

I don’t think they mean follow as in click the follow button, I’m pretty sure they mean follow as in keep up with the group, like you do with the groups you stan

Yeah thats the best about inhouse survial shows, all the idols belong to the agency, so there is no need to limit their contracts or fight with other agencies.. almost all current JYP groups got created this way, I think only Itzy just debuted without having a show?

TLDR; Right after disbandment, there's a lot of love and collective 'community' feelings to tune into everyone's releases. However, after time passes, those feelings will fade and you'll be left asking yourself what you want to pursue and what no longer holds your interest. Follow the vibe, and your own feelings, and you'll be happy with the time you've spent with them.

thats how I would imagine too... I mean the same question is raised for regular groups too, one day they will disband and many members do different things.. I have not experienced it yet though luckily

Stray Kids debuted with a reality show that was kinda like a survival show? The concept was like the group vs. JYP and JYP wanted to eliminate two members, but they eventually all stayed together

yea, i agree, but even though they didn't debut with a survival show, they did appear in them (except for lia), they were in sixteen and the stray kids survival shows ^^

I used to stan JBJ and still follow most of the members socials, but most seem pretty content with different parts of the industry now which is fine of course, just miss seeing them on stage, but as long as they’re happy. (Kenta & Sanggyun are still a duo but haven’t released anything in years and only do small meetups with fans, Taehyun is doing dance things, Donghan is in Wei but I personally don’t really like their music, I hope he releases solo stuff again eventually and Hyunbin is killing it as a model.)
X1 I look into what the members release whether its solo/group activities but I don’t exactly follow any of them. I wish the whole thing with X1 never happened, still so sad about that.

yeah, there was a boy group and girl group in the first episode and they were seeing who'd be able to debut (at that time the 4 itzy members were with i think 3-5 other girls) and after they both performed, the boy group ended up going on to debut ^^
