Some books are on my phone, or if I’m reading a physical book I just use a flashlight/candles.

in the past, I would freak out and run to my parents straight away since these things would normally happen in my apartment at night. This is why I now have the flashlight turned on in my room every night when I go to sleep - not just because of that but also because sleeping and being in the dark room scares me
