@Vikki can you look how it is :)) :sanapray: I mean my English…
It’s pretty good, there’s just a few l things that I would switch out personally because they sound a little awkward. But all are little things.

The band consists of Karla Chubb (lead singer and songwriter), Colm O'Reilly (guitar) and Jack Callan (drums) and Sam McCann (bass).
Here you just use and twice in the list and miss a comma, I’m guessing you forgot about the last member at first and what’s why the double and happened.

They released their debut song back in 2020 ; Kissing Practice.
You wouldn’t use a semicolon here, I think a better way to say it would be to knits list Kissing Practice with no punctuation right after debut song

They named as inspirations groups such IDLES, Pixies, Fugazi and the solo artist PJ Harvey.
Don’t know if it technically breaks a grammar rule (I think it does but don’t know which), but I would cut out “as inspirations” and put it at the end. I think it flows better.

but then I have find out that she has grown up partly in Germany!
A better verb form here would be “found out” instead of “have find out” since it’s past tense.

I recommend to have a listen :)
I’d say adding “for you” before “to have” makes it flow better and might clear up a grammar error too.

The start is quiet and the use of the guitar work pretty well.
Just add an s to work because guitar is singular.

Don't ask me why but this song has hit me in a minute at the first listen!
This type of phrasing isn’t used in English really, it might be a phrase that’s used in another language you speak. In English we would typically say things like “this song immediately hit me” or. “This song grabbed me on the first listen”.

That’s all, and these are all pretty minor things. There was no point where I didn’t understand what you wanted to say, which is the important part :sanapray:

@Vikki Is British English’s grammar really different? :dubuthink:
Not sure, I don’t really know British English. I do think there’s some variation though, but I wouldn’t imagine that it would be crazy different.

My parents learned British English at school too, even now they sometimes pronounce things differently than in the US. But they’ve lived here a long time by now so I’m not sure what it was like at the beginning
