How would you rank your fave's last three titles? (1 Viewer)

Thinking of this since I had two artists I like comeback today! Since some groups have giant discographies, figured it'd be easier to just do the last three. Also only play along if you're actually going to rank them; this isn't "three = garbage" just a rough ranking of what you personally like the most.



For me, I'm going to start with today's releases....

Yena:

1. Love War
2. Good Morning
3. Hate Rodrigo

I really like Love War, especially for this time of year. The almost conversational approach with Be'o really suited the vibes of the song. I like Hate Rodrigo, but it's tangled up in knowing that releasing it caused problems for Yena. Good Morning is fine, but I like the B sides more right now; I do like seeing her confident again and pop punk is definitely her vibe.

NMIXX:

1. Dash
2. Love Me Like This
3. Party O'Clock

Dash, I want to dash, run it! It's so catchy, and it really motivates me to move, so it's perfect for this time of year. Love Me Like This is also a solid title. It'll be interesting to see if I keep the ranking this way in a few months lol. I might overplay one or both of them. Party O'Clock is certainly a song.

It's so catchy! I really like the album as a whole too. They did a good job with this comeback.

good morning is just. easily one of yena's best. might be recency bias speaking but i just love how she went all-out with the punk this time. it's very cool to see as a fan, and exactly what i've been dreaming of ever since she dropped smiley - not that i mind her "brighter" songs like smiley or smartphone or... hate rodrigo. yeah exactly what you said tbh, i like the song very much, but things are a bt sour because of the problems she faced. however i just find love war extremely dull as a song. idk i just like a bit of... ✨spice✨ in my music ig

That's totally fair! If I ranked this in summer, Love War would be a different place for me.

I really like her finding her niche with her pop punk princess. I like that she's leaning into it even more than before in her title, and not just B sides. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with her mini.

3. callin'

mango and don't wait are both absolute bangers and were very quickly added to my list of fav suju songs ever cuz they're just that good. celebrate and callin' are christmas songs. I HATE CHRISTMAS SONGS. celebrate gets second place for being less depressing. callin' is just boring.

tvxq (not including jp releases):

1. the chance of love & love line
2. rebel
3. truth

i like the contrast between tcol and love line! rebel gets second place solely because it's the only comeback on the list that got proper promotions, music wise i think truth is better but i'm still mad it had no promotion at all. not even a behind the scenes or a special performance or anything, just. mv and that's it.

onlyoneof:

1. chrome arts
2. seoul drift
3. dopamine

ngl i'm not a big fan of their shift into experimental noise music. still, i really liked chrome arts. seoul drift gets second place for having fantastic b-sides. dopamine... happened. is happening. i guess.

There's just something so fun about Obsession, that's why I put it first. I will forever hope for a fully costumed X-EXO, full group version of it one day but I know that will forever be an unfulfilled wish. Don't Fight the Feeling is a really fun song that makes me dance. Cream Soda was just kinda blah for me. I didn't connect to it at all, it just isn't my taste.

You Problem is just such a fun song and the video is hilarious. Love, the video is fire, the song is fire, need I say more.

Beautiful Liar, nothing against that song, there are just some lyrics in there that hit a bit close to home and make me really uncomfortable so I just can't listen to it.

I wanted to do a few more but I get confused on release dates sometimes so I think it would be easier to leave it here.
