is it true that the questions on the homework are the same exact ones on the exam? my professor said that's how it is in all college math classes but it sounds too good to be true

that was NEVER the case for me - i took 2 college math classes. but also my 1 prof was a crazy man who had 4 versions of every exam

the exams would be like 100 points with 4-8 questions each. it was hell on earth, that was my statistics class

oh but the different exams were to discourage cheating and were handed out in the order of 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 so that you weren't guaranteed the same exam as the people around you

It's probably professor dependent, but I took two statistics courses, two calculus courses, and a handful of math-heavy courses and none of them reused practice questions. One of the stats classes didn't even offer homework; that professor was very "pass your mids and finals or GTFO" lol.

I took college calculus, and I don't remember the exams being the same as the homework... but then, that was years ago, and I dropped out after two semesters lol
