Yes, I consider 4 chapters to be a short story imo.
I haven't done one in years and especially one that is completed (one my worst habits is not finishing up a multi-chapter story complete )

I said this on the day I finished the story.

I want to say that I really enjoyed writing this short story. Originally, this was meant to be a one-time thing... But after completing the story, I want to expand this Modern AU storyline I created.

And now... I am working on a one-shot that is set months after the 3rd chapter of the story because I felt inspired

Thanks. I have been working on that story since mid-December for the holidays, but I knew I was going to finish it after the holidays based on how long it takes me to post a chapter. That motivated me to work on a new, but shorter story!

congrats! the only stories I ever completed were half-assed and just not very good, to say the least. I also have that bad habit of not finishing stories. I have like a bajillion incomplete fanfics on my hard drive. lol

I have the same bad habit when it comes to not finishing stories. This is mostly because I constantly feel like I messed up the story in some way and I don't know how to continue the story from there

Thanks! I haven't done a story like this in years. I can write betweeen 1K to 3K words (sometimes I can write up to 5K words in a story). Plus I was really motivated to complete this story in some way.
