They see no need to acknowledge a member if they want to leave the group, they see it as a loss of revenue so why put in effort for them. Same with a group as a whole. There are a few exceptions to the rule sometimes tho.

i've noticed that for stray kids, they still have birthday lives but there's nothing posted anywhere else (but it might just be me idk) like i know that on the yt community page for jype and stray kids there's nothing on the community for their birthdays but there are posts for the birthdays of other groups
