TOZ [티오지 | To Our Zone]

TOZ is a 4 member boy group under YY Entertainment. They debuted on September 27, 2023 with the mini album FLARE. The four members are Anthonny, Hart, Yuto, Takuto, and you can see information about them in this thread. *･ﾟ✧

Anthonny [linmura anthonny | 飯沼 アントニー]

Born on February 13, 2004 Anthonny is the leader and the main vocalist of the group. He has the only positions in the group. He is half Japanese and half Philipino, and speaks 4 languages (Korean, Tagalog, Japanese, English).

He was a contestant on Boys Planet (ranked 32nd) and Produce 101 (Japan Season 2, ranked 18th). He used to train under WakeOne.

Hart [maeda haruto 前田晴翔]

Born on November 16th, 2004, Haruto was born in Tokyo, Japan. He has an older sister and lived in New Jersey for 10 years. He can speak English as his first language.

He was a contestant on LOUD (eliminated episode 8) and Boys Planet (ranked 22nd). He used to train under WakeOne and played in a Japanese musical titled Billy Elliot the Musical (2017).

Yuto [takano yūto 高野 佑都]

Born on December 14th, 2004, Haruto was born in Osaka, Japan. He speaks English, Korean, and Japanese. His most confident body part is his ears.

He was a contestant on Boys Planet (ranked 90th).

His role model is BTS

Takuto [Toyonaga Takuto 豊永 拓斗]

Born on November 13th 2007, Takuto is the youngest of the group. He was born in Saitama, Japan and can speak Korean and Japanese. He loves takoyaki and spicy foods. He can do some gymnastic skills.

His role model is Ghost9

Chips:Starts out with a rap. I like the instrumental, but i like the vocals even more, they are impeccable. The chorus is fun, but the verses are kinda all over the place with the rap being sprinkled around. The "chip chip chip chip chip" part is cute, they sound like lil chicks xD. The highnote before the final chorus is so good. All in all it's a fun and bright song, but nothing too memorable? 7/10
Dunk: Starts with some computer generated voice. I thought it was just the beginning, but it continues to the chorus with some mechanical/electronic sounds and some choppy group chant (?), not really my style. 3/10
Happily Ever After: Starts with vocals and soft guitar instrumental. I really enjoy it. The rap matches the song's vibes too, not too strong but just right. It's a song you would listen while on a road trip. 6/10
Peach Peach: Made me laugh, i thought they were saying "Bitch Bitch" xD It's a summery song again, with some cute singing, shouts in chorus to give a vibe of "vacation at the BEACH BEACH with your friends". The bridge is pretty and builds up very well too. Giving it 7/10 for making me laugh. "OH PEAAACCH".
Magic Hours: Definitely best song out of the album. The verses sound good on their own too, with a good balance of rap and vocals. The chorus is fun and kinda generic, but it's so enjoyable i don't even care. They are Young and they are having fun too. The MV is colorful and obviously professional. I like the scene most when they are on the rooftop and playing with water while the sun sets. It's pretty hard to get a pool up there and fill it with water but also catch the perfect time in the day when the sun is at that GOLDEN HOUR and makes the guys look great too and the whole scene kinda nostalgic and film like. Props to the MV director. 8/10

Magic Hour:
The song is bright and fun, I always like the upbeat pop concept.
I like the guitar during the verses and the chorus is full of energy. Nice vocal and rap parts.
The music video is really colorful, full of young vibes and it feels more like you are watching a kpop MV, it's high quality for sure.
I also want to point out that they can dance so well, which is no surprise considering that they all were Boys Planet contestants. I think this was a nice debut song and music video.

Chips:
First of all, I like how this song uses the chips metaphor for love. Love is delicious, fragile, addictive or can be crushed like chips. Like the lyrics says: "sweet on the outside, salty on the inside" - love can be complicated. But you always want to "take one more bite".
The "chip chip" and "cheek cheek" parts are cute and playful. Anthonny's high note is amazing and the vocals in this song are great.

Peach peach:
This is a sweet love song with bright vibes. Here we go with a peach simile. Peaches are cute and if you bite into them, you will feel the sweetness. This song is really well built and I can imagine myself listen to it while driving during summer time. The voices of the guys merge well, so the song is smooth. It's a fresh, lively song with good vibes.

I love Haruto. When I first saw him on Boys Planet, I just knew he was going places. So talented and gets everyone energized. Anthonny is incredibly sweet and also very talented. So happy to see these boys debuting.
