My best friend from 6'th grade. After we parted ways for high school, and after everything that happened to me in that time, I drew a line between me and everyone in my life because I didn't want to be close to anyone. I'm sure she thought we just drifted naturally, which I guess we did, but I intentionally avoided her too.

Idk if this kind of loss is what you're asking, but I've always been a single child, and the closest person to me was always my younger cousin. She was closer to me than any "real" sister I could hope for and we lost her to leukemia in 2007. And tbh I still don't think I'm completely over it.
