thing is since it's a first gen group, the fandom is more protective and just more up for fighting. espiecially the ones who were with them when they debuted

I can't relate, barely have second gen favorites, forget about 1st
but when you stan a group from debut, you tend to be more protective and think you know more than newer fans (which is logical if you don't boast)

that's true. I fell lucky to be into kpop since 2010 since I watched some of my favorite groups debut and grow up and I was also able to get to know alot of the populair idols that debuted before that year.
You really notice changes with how fandoms are with each generation.

I REALLY got into kpop during 2015, so I wouldn't call myself as old as you, but I'm certainly not new either

yeah, the second gen wars war bad, but I feel now these 3rd gens ones are even worse
I really wouldn't know though, I tend to stay out of it

second gen had some legendry fandom wars too.
third gen seems mild tough since mostly internet wars are happening

I sadly doubt it. korea isn’t doing anything about it. if the country would care about safety they wouldn’t let sasaeng taxi‘s be a thing
