What do you think of the new 'chill/lofi' concept in kpop girl groups? (1 Viewer)

I mean chill songs, like Blush or Magnetic Many people say that these groups are getting 'newjeans-ified', but these songs only remind me of one or two New Jeans releases, so I don't think it's New Jeans' sound specifically.

i mean it depends. personally i like more energetic songs, but if a chill song's good, it's good

i'd still say there's a bit of newjeans influence. not necessarily in the sense that the song actually sounds like what newjeans sounds like, but more in the sense like people think it's trendy to release chill songs bc newjeans are releasing primarily chill songs and are doing very well for themselves.
