the impact that they had, the power that they held (and still hold today) tbh I haven't seen anything like it since they debuted. im not saying that the new groups aren't making debuts like this anymore, but they aren't doing it.

i would like to kindly disagree since these legends still exist and had much bigger impact. boombayah was still an iconic debut tho.

I was referring to after bp debuted.

oh i see now. but i still disagree that no other group had the same impact. besides most 3rd gen groups debuted before bp and still had good ones. but each to their own opinions ig.
tbh I think that bp changed the game for ggs and groups in general in the third gen, looking in the long term, there are a lot of groups who take inspiration from bp for their debuts and songs. I mean only months after bp debuted there were groups who were taking inspiration from bps styling and aesthetic. I haven't rlly seen that from groups that debuted after bp, and I think that the production that went into bps debut was just great I haven't rlly seen that many debuts that have matched up to it. im not saying that the new groups are bad I actually enjoy them but bps debut to me is something that just hasn't been topped I guess? but that's just from my opinion and perspective and of course, there are going to be people who disagree.

BP's popularity revitalized the girl crush concept, I gotta credit them for that. Any agency debuting a girl crush group is probably hoping to emulate Blackpink's success.
