well, I have 10 obviously, but I usually use 2 ~ 4 when writing, depending on where the key ist.

For the text I use one finger and I use four fingers in total.

Usually I type the words with my left index finger (I'm left handed) and I use the right index finger, middle finger and thumb for the right part of the keyboard and things like starting a new line, deleting words, moving the cursor...
I guess it looks pretty funny when I sit there and peck around with my finger on my keyboard like a chicken that eats grains.

I rarely type long texts, otherwise I'd would learn touch typing.

For some reason I've always typed that way, so I probably got used to it.

My right hand position when typing is the same when I play first person shooters. I use the right thumb, index and middle finger and the arrow keys for navigating through the levels.
