Yes (bear spray), nope, nope, nope, nope, and nope I do know the magic of filter bottles though ig, and what water sources are best for those bottles. If that counts for anything.

Alone majority of the time. Most my friends either find it too risky or isn't physically capable of completing some of the hikes. The one I posted was 19 miles and 6000 feet of elevation gain if I remember correctly. I think I started at 9am and didn't get back down till 10pm.

So I'll usually travel with friends on like city trips but I only have like one friend who likes to hike with me but doesn't have as much vacation time as I do so we only go on trips together like once a year.

Mmm I've only encountered bear twice in an actual hike. First time I was at at least 300 feet away and was in no danger. The second time I had one encounter about 50 feet away but I had bear spray with me fortunately I didn't have to use it.

But they're usually pretty safe, even if they see you, they usually just go away because they're also afraid of you. The only time they get aggressive usually is if you surprise them like accidentally waking up to them which is why if you make sound, if they hear you, they'll have enough time to move away from you so you so that won't happen.
