how can i start wearing minimal makeup without being embarassed? i dont mean full glam, i just want to start wearing very little but i'm scared that my family will start to make fun of me

It's not embarrassing I buy make up products a lot

Just buy some basic stuff like mascara, gloss, a nude lipstick or tint, and eyeshadow

the problem is that i wouldn't feel uncomfortable going to a store with my best friend or something, i would feel kind of nervous to go in with my family i don't mind buying at a store (i don't have sephora either) but also i've got no money because i'm 13 so i guess i'm overthinking something that i can't even do

if your family is supportive of you wearing makeup, i'd just tell them.
I told my mom I wanted to wear makeup and visited a Sephora when we were on holiday
My mom went with me and we both got advice as my mom didn't wear makeup either. We both ended up being stuff

in argentina we have a very big "poke-fun" or "mess around" culture, they're not actually making fun of you but sometimes it makes me feel kind of bad about myself or i just dont find it funny, but there's never ill intent! im sure they're supportive of it, i just dont want them to do that poking fun thingy

we have that too here, but i talked about it for a while and it helped that there aren't a lot of tips for people who wear glasses
