Let's say your fave band splits up, and they both shit on eachother. Which side would u choose? Would u still listen to their old songs if it came out they fought while making it/singing it? Would u still follow them both of give up on them?

I mean yesss. I saw some bands split up and really was curious what the fans thought.
Not just when one member leaves but a real split. Like that divides a fandom.

I was a fan of the Sugababes, who became almost immediately known for their volatile nature.

They had three initial members, Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan.

After the first album, Siobhan left and claimed the other two had been bullying her. She was replaced by Heidi, and went on to release two solo albums.
After their fourth album, Mutya left, although I can't remember the reason. She was replaced by Amelle, and went on to release one solo album.
During the filming of a music video for the seventh album, Keisha was kicked out of the group with accusations of being aggressive or something like that. Basically the other two said, "It's her or us". She was replaced by someone who I can't remember.

Then Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan reformed as "Mutya Keisha Siobhan" or MKS.

Wonderfully messy group. I was with them all the way until they kicked out Keisha and followed Siobhan's solo work (Mutya's album was not my thing). Many fans called the remaining line-up the "Sugafakes", their only album was a big departure because the original Sugababes wrote most of their own songs and the new line-up didn't. It was poorly received, flopped and they disbanded, allowing MKS to eventually regain the name Sugababes.

Here is the saga in Wikipedia timeline form, but it doesn't make it apparent that for a brief period, there were TWO groups, the original line-up and their replacements:

It wasn't just a hypothetical situation for Metalheads in the past. After Queensrÿche vocalist Geoff Tate had a split with the band (it ended up in the courts), I continued listening to both. Having said that, Queensrÿche was be the better option musically - although the old Queensrÿche albums with Tate up to 'Empire' remained unrivaled. Some Metal fans say that 'Operation: Mindcrime' is the magnum opus of 80s Progressive Metal and they could be right.
