And do you like the other versions? Which is the best?

For me I think of stroganoff. There's the original Russian version, along with Brazilian beef stroganoff (common in Brazil) and pork stroganoff (a one off random persons recipe I think). I like them all, but I like Russian the most. The Brazilian version has a lot more ingredients in the sauce, with additions like ketchup and Worcestershire sauce, and its served with shoestring potatoes. The pork one used group pork and also had apples. It was weird but good. I make them all at times but I find the Russian one to be the best.

for a more generic answer something like noodles and I would expand the definition to include something like pasta since that's also a type of noodle???

Arroz con leche (rice pudding)...I didn't know this but it exists in many different non-latino/hispanic countries. I think I heard it originated in the Middle East (?).
Anyway, Nicaraguan arroz con leche is good :P

To make it, you cook rice with cinnamon. Then you pour this into a container and then let the rice cool down. Once it cools down, put some milk in it and let it soak in for like 20 minutes as well as more cinnamon and some sugar for sweetness (and I recommend putting in the fridge because like...milk).

Pretty easy and simple.

Oh I love Arroz con Leche as long it doesn't have raisins in them (I like mine without the raisins). We use cinnamon, cloves, and star anise in the Dominican version of Arroz con Leche.
