I didn't read the article until after I posted it. I saw another article's title that indicated the fire was separate from her injury that prompted me to read the article. I'm know for clickbaity titles. As for my Wendy comment. It happened over a year ago. She has healed. But let's not encourage sticking our heads in the sand when it comes to the bad stuff idols go through.

Recent articles reveal the idols' company pay millions(of Won(?) to create the set of music show promotions, so the responsibility of the set design might be on SMEnt(whether safety or OSHA is on MBC/Mnet I'm unsure as it's all opaque) whereas year end shows, where Wendy's injury occurred was presumably the primary responsibility of SBS(either Gayo Daejeon or the set production team, or maybe including SMEnt not exercising oversight in set design/logistics). It seems vague here but either Winter tried to power through her condition, but other reports state Karina n Giselle(I don't rmbr who exactly or if it's just speculation) protected her by mentioning her being affected by the fire/smoke; however it happened, prevention of greater distress/injury for winter occurred here as compared to wendy who was in recovery over a year.
