Like the rule of not wearing white to a wedding
I mean I wouldn't ever wear white to a wedding if it's mentioned in the card to wear it then that's a different case

Well if it’s a western type white dress affair and they haven’t explicitly told you to wear white then why wear white? Unless you aren’t familiar with such weddings then it seems to be pretty well accepted that the bride would be the one wearing white. And there so many other colors to pick from, so it seems to me that if you know the accepted procedure and still choose white then you’re probably doing it on purpose to cause trouble.

If I were to get married (I won't lol), I wouldn't care about people wearing white but I don't wear white at other's weddings bc I know it can be seen as disrespectful and I'm too lazy to want to deal with petty conflicts. So I don't believe in it, but I abide by the rule for other people

I do have few pretty white dresses but I think it's fine to just abide my the rule don't really want the bride to give me "looks"

I would respect the rule and not wear white for a wedding… Plus I don’t like wearing white clothes in general
