That's so cool! I wish I had some culture in my life. I was born in the US and I'm African American but I never really felt close to it, y'know?
My family is part Spanish on my paternal grandma's side but that's about it haha. Our family has lived in America for generations and we don't have a lot of culture to pass down, if you know what I'm saying.

I completely understand what you mean. Due to certain factors, I had not been able to explore my own culture until now and honestly couldn’t have done it without some of my support systems. My family has been in North America for at least my parents’ generation but there is Ukrainian heritage. I don’t know my exact percentage, nor do I feel the need to know, but I do wanna learn more about this part of me
