Why do people find it fun to go to bars or clubs where you have to basically shout at each other to hear them?

Why is asking too many questions during a conversation considered rude? To me, it’s considered being engaged.

i agree with this, not that clubs or bars are bad imo but i just feel really bad because all my friends and classmates go to parties and i have never gone to one because i just cant find the appeal to it 😭

If you print too much money it becomes worth less. Some countries have tried. And that's how you end up with people in history taking a wheelbarrow of money to buy a loaf of bread. It becomes worth so little.

I’m 22 and I have never been to a party. Life can be fun without them

As for the asking questions it might get too much if the person telling the story or trying to get their thoughts out cant because theres too many questions. Asking no questions ever isn't good either, but too many would probably get annoying. But it would have to be a ton of questions to get to that level imo

But how does one understand how many questions is socially acceptable? We need a book to tell us all the socially acceptable things that aren’t “common sense”

Yeah agreed, we all have different perceptions on social stuff so it’s kind of hard to “just know”

Do what you really like. If they're your friends, you share other interests. On the other hand, if you never went to a party, how can you be so sure that you wouldn't like it?

i'm a really awkward person, i can't dance for shit and as we all know i'm a kpop stan who doesn't listen to much newer music from my country so i most likely wouldn't know like 50% of the songs. besides, i wouldn't want to make my friend bored if we ever went together and i know her other friends are way more fun and go out a lot

like literally the sweetest ppl ever can get treated so horribly but someone who has like done so many bad things gets treated super well... it's like some type of double standard and it sucks..

I never danced at parties. Unknown music is a good conversation starter.

The problem is that people that tend to isolate themselves always have excuses why they can't interact with other people. I know that from my past. I sat there alone and just waited that people reach out and offer to help me. It never happened. I had to become active to 'reintegrate' myself after my depression.

But you have friends, so I guess you're not that type of person. As I said: enjoy the things you really like.

I never knew this I ask so many questions because I'm a naturally curious person :") and to carry a conversation I like to ask questions and be asked questions too

because they are the easiest to take advantage of and being a kind person and having a kind heart doesn't guarantee good treatment from people

I do too. I will never get over the time I went out for breakfast and I asked for water but people were talking over me so I never got my water it was hard for me to even get the courage to ask.

There's a school of thought in economics that asks this question - Modern Monetary Theory.
@Ahsoka is right in saying that the main danger is inflation, specifically the danger of the money supply significantly exceeding economic output.

It's not a 1:1 relationship though, and many people mistakenly assume that the monetary supply is the primary causal factor for inflation, as well as misunderstanding the ways in which money is "printed" (the vast majority of it is not by central banks/the government).

What matters is how the money is used, which is too complicated a subject to get into, but I did delve into it in this reddit comment I made. I use very clear language in that post because I am speaking to Redditors who are naturally smooth brained, so it might be a good introduction.

The short of it is:
Modern Money Theory supposes that the increased supply of money can be countered by targeted investment that leads to productive gains, and where an imbalance exists, it can be adjusted for via taxation (as taxation in this model removes money from the supply).
Mainstream economists do not like this view because the equilibrium proposed is not something that naturally occurs - it requires human intervention to maintain. There is considerable doubt as to whether we can realistically be expected to get good outcomes given how fallible our models are. There is also the fact that monetary policy is usually decided by the central bank and fiscal policy by the government, and if these two don't work in concert, the whole thing falls apart.
Monetarists don't like it because it violates their irrational system of nonsense beliefs, but also monetarists and neoliberals monopolise media discussions on economics despite being discredited within the field. So when you hear that such and such country experienced hyperinflation because of its monetary policy, try and consider the source.

The other factor is what Keynes called "animal spirits", and in particular, how most existing economies have entrenched bond markets that are vulnerable to panic. Beyond this: The value of a currency is based on belief, and belief must be maintained. So in other words, if a lot of people don't think an idea will work, it won't work, even if, mathematically, it should work.
