Ok so it's the second book in a series, it's called Paper & Fire by Rachel Caine (RIP) but also-this is my all time FAVORITE series.

OK so this is one of my favorite authors but no shade-not my favorite book.

BUT so this is actually the finale in a duology called Gilded. It's a dark gothic retelling of Rumpelstiltskin. It's a bit insta-lovey but everything else is so dark and fairytale-esque I love it.
