LMAOO it reminds me of 14 year olds fighting over at tiktok/twitter.

It just makes me believe they lucked out at profiting from their first main group(s) and yet they both don't know how to continue on. 1 party believes investing in new (or existing companies will bring in profits, cos tats how it was earlier) n the 2nd party thinks 🤔 tat they hv the magic touch cos tats how it worked for them till now.

both parties didn't believe they lucked out on building the first main group n not realising there's no guarantees of past results will beget just as successful future results. I'm not sure how to explain it better, party A's first group might be considered a black swan event n party b's 1st group might also be considered a black swan event up till this point. 🤔 but future results aren't guaranteed for party b since the feud started, n party a's efforts after 1st group hvnt been close to the results. Hence party a risking so much on party b's 1st group, n reaping the resulting consequences-watever it so happens to be.

Hybe/BPD had no original/creative ideas of how to create/make a successful gg[I liked Crossroads/Apple/mago+all/most tracks under hybe-but I think koreans mostly didn't, by the end- but I think it was happening during fingertip/fever already; if anything investment money probably extended shelf life till contract end. If anything gfriend in 2019 would hv benefited if they had joined a hypothetical queendom 2/even queendom 1; but maybe they were not at the gidle/lovelyz/aoa lvl then. I mean they had me gusta tu/navillera n rough n others but dropped off somewhat after) which tldr, hybe/badges just had to leave soumu/gf be but he couldn't help himself with hybe ipo free cash money burning in his pocket. Money not invested is money wasting away.

I read abt 1st/2nd(?) gen big 3 kpop co. at another forum(threads now lost after revamp, at least I can't find em). DSP, g.o.d. co. Sidus(?) maybe or idk which were big 3 before SM, YG, JYP. I don't believe BSH set out realistically believing he could top n become no.1; it happened slowly, inevitably maybe. Mostly same for any top company tat lasts 100/50/20 yrs till today. It happens thru some moves which turn out well. It's called survivor bias I think. Inevitable cos some co. WILL be no.1!

I very much agree with @Selfmate here. All of this is to do with business, economics, and the profit motive. Very single accusation by both sides is to make sure Hybe either wins/loses NJs

regardless of the original intention or reason for starting all of this, what they are currently doing is the exact opposite of the profit motive. They are damaging the reputations of all labels involved, the reputation of many of their artists and made their stock prices plumet.

MHJ really seems to be the only one who appears to kinda know what they are doing.. I'm not sure I would say she is winning, as things can change quickly, but even though the stuff she is doing and saying is divisive, at least she manages to keep opinions split or somewhat in her favor.

HYBE on the other hand seems to only implode with every statement they make, wiht the BELIFT video being the low point so far (it currently sits at 93% dislike ratio on youtube). I don't understand how they can't be emberassed enough to just delete it at this point

even in 2022 mhj admitted to creative differences so severe that source and she split, originally bang pd wanted a gg with a billie eilish esque sound so when mhj came with attention and wouldn’t budge on it, they let her take her staff and trainees to ador—she and bang pd still haven’t spoke in years
otherwise I agree with you, some of it was business but a lot of it was also personal egos

mhj was ready to leave at that point though, she literally resigned because she got tired of waiting for lsm to just fire her
aespa was very much lsm’s pet project, he gave mhj a lot of freedom but I doubt he would’ve let her have that much say in his smcu dreams

like I said the ultimate goal is NJ - which is the most successful and profitable GG to come out of Hybe
If memory serves correct they made more profit than all the other GG under hybe last year
