Sonic Boom is a ten-member K-pop boy group under Bright Crown Entertainment. The group consists of members Seongmin, Leebo, Seth, Dylan, Hoshi, Woojin, Cam, Pon-Pon, Kai, and Double D, and they made their debut on June 16th, 2024, with the single "Bada-Boom!", off their forthcoming debut project. They’re called Sonic Boom because they want their upbeat, feel-good music to be heard everywhere in the world, not just in Korea.

Seongmin facts:
-Birthplace: Daegu, South Korea
-The members call him “Song-Min” because he’s really good at songwriting as well as singing.
-He has a Satori accent, which is his charm point.
-He has traveled all over the world because of his dad’s job.
Leebo facts:
-Birthplace: Mokpo, Jeollanam-do, South Korea
-He comes off as tsundere in the way he looks at you, but in reality, he’s just a soft teddy bear.
-His role model is RM from BTS. In fact, RM has inspired him to work on his English fluency, which is already very good.
-He can also speak Mandarin, Japanese, and he’s also currently learning Spanish.
-He’s a black belt in taekwondo.
-He’s got the most prominent muscles in the group.
Seth facts:
-He started learning to dance after he saw BTS’ “No More Dream” dance practice video.
-His role model is Seonghwa from Ateez.
-Birthplace: Jecheong, Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea
Dylan facts:
-Birthplace: Shelbyville, Kentucky, United States
-He was on the football team (tight end) in high school.
-He knows how to play guitar and writes songs very well.
-He wanted to move to Nashville to become a country singer, but he quickly changed his mind when he was approached by Bright Crown Entertainment’s CEO while out busking one day.
-He’s the hottie of the group.
Hoshi facts:
-He shares a stage name with Kwon Soon-Young, Seventeen’s Hoshi. When he found out there was another Hoshi debuting, Soon-Young reached out to him; they’re now the best of friends and stay in contact daily.
-His role model is Riize Shotaro after seeing videos of him in his NCT days.
-He was born in a suburb of Tokyo but moved to Seoul as a child. As a result, he can speak both Japanese and Korean fluently.
Woojin facts:
-The members nicknamed him Woo for his flirting skills.
-They also call him Jojo because he can make monkey noises.
-His charm point is his dimpled smile.
-His role model is Felix from Stray Kids.
-He’s the lease English-fluent in the group and always relies on Leebo and Dylan for translations.
Cam facts:
-His stage name comes from Camry, the name of a poplar Toyota model. He was originally Camry, but he shortened it because it sounded too girly.
-As his surname suggests, he’s really into cars and had a hobby of building model cars in his childhood.
-He has a huge crush on Hitomi from Say My Name. She was his bias when Iz*One was still together, and she's still his bias now that she's debuted in Say My Name.
Pon-Pon facts:
-He can only speak broken English and has a thick Thai accent.
-He loves Thai food, especially the noodle dish Pad See Ewe.
-Despite being a recent emigrant to South Korea, his Korean is very good thanks to his Korean mother teaching him.
Kai facts:
-He was born and raised in China, but he moved to Seoul to pursue music when he was sixteen. He passed his audition for Bright Crown and trained for three years.
-He’s a high school dropout because he felt his career in music was more important. He does plan to get his GED later, though.
-His hobbies include cooking, making origami, and playing guitar.
Double D facts:
-His role model is Wooseok from Pentagon.
-He was formerly a Cube trainee because he wanted to be on the same label as Wooseok, but he switched to Bright Crown after he learned how Cube treats their artists.
-Double D comes from his nickname Dae-Dream, which stems from his tendency to daydream a lot.
