I was just pointing out that in most Canadian provinces you can’t get alcohol as an 18 year old

I'm not sure about Canadian laws but is it the same in Australia that although you can't buy alcohol under a certain age (it's 18 down under) you can still consume in freely in your own house?

Probably but that’s a thing in the US too You can’t buy it until you’re 21 but in more than half the states you can drink when younger

Stepping in as the resident Canadian. Quebec, Manitoba and Alberta are the provinces where you can but alcohol at 18. It is 19 for all other 10 provinces and territories

cool but I was rather referring to the fact that even if you can't physically buy the product if someone else of age buys it one can still consume it regardless of age (at home)

I don’t think there’s a difference in age between the two here in Canada. But it doesn’t stop people from doing it

Google says Canada doesn’t have an age difference. So apparently most Americans states let people legally drink before most Canadians provinces do
