To use the language to obtain what you need?

I don't, I think I'm too lazy for that.
I tend to want to get what I want with few words, and they are not always precise enough

Well in English no, I still make mistakes and I'm sometimes afraid to express some things without making grammar mistakes. My vocabulary is pretty good, but it can still be improved
In Romanian on the other hand... yes. I graduated as a Communication and PR student so I'm confident I can express myself very well

well yeah, communication is really really important and it can change a lot of things

but I'm also kinda a... grammar nazi in my language, so idk if that's a good thing

English is pretty difficult for me sometimes, but I need to use it because I'm in an art academy which also has a lot of foreign students. I have to present in English for 90% of the time so you try to explain yourself the best you can (and I'm still learning lol).

Dutch is my native language, I think I'm pretty ok with that lol

Yes, it's not really something i have to think about much its kinda how i've always been, its easier to do in terms of speaking just because typing and writing is tedious (although my written work for my job is based around analysis and observation of children, so there's some sort of technicality in it),
However depending on who i'm talking to, i can either simplify or extend what i'm saying. Depending what's needed at the time in terms of emotion, i'll change the tone and use different words to make something softer or harder sounding.

Only thing that would affect how i speak or type is me not being bothered mood wise so everything is a little rougher sharper in mannerisms but still somewhat polite.

English is my native language, when it comes to other languages (like french since i studied it for 5 years in school) i'll always be messy but formal due to lack of practise and non usage in general.
