Not a Hyuna fan (there is things that i dont like about her like the way she treated Dawn and ruined Pentagon) but i dont get this extreme cancellation.
It's like people are so obsessed on hating her and see her fail instead of just ignoring her and move on.
The thing that annoys the sh*t out of me is that i dont see this same backlash with Zico and any one that works with him
Like that dude is more popular than ever since he is on HYBE and people are still supporting him even tho he was even more involved in the burning sun scandal than Hyuna' bf ever was.

But are we even surprise that kpop stans are a bunch of hypocrites?
Maybe i will start to take you guys serious in the day you start cancelling Zico as hard as you are cancelling Hyuna. Let's keep the same energy


Edit: I also never understood from where people took that Hyuna's image was such a girl's girl.
Like, her whole image was built for male gaze and didn't the other 4minute girls stop talking with Hyuna after 4minute disbandment bc they was on bad terms with her?
It was her fandom that projected that image on her and now they are all pissed that she is not what they imagined. Maybe next time dont lie to yourselfs. Also stop putting idols/celebs in such a high pedestal

I just want to add, regardless of any personal issues Hyuna might have.. I saw an article about Chuus tour also having a lot of unsold tickets

As Chuu has no drama surrounding her, I saw other reasons given why this happens.. like very high ticket prices and many other Loona followup groups also touring, making it hard for fans to go everywere

Also album sales for almost all girl groups being a lot lower recently.

It kinda feels like the bubble is bursting a bit or kpop comapnies are just way to greedy and people don't want to put up with it anymore

So I don't want to say the other reasons mentioned are not relevant, but probably there is more than only one specific reason why this happens
