I just learned a twisty bun is soooo comfortable. (1 Viewer)

This may seem like a small thing. I know. When I get home and I just want my hair out of my face I put it in a messy top knot. It’s done in two seconds boom. But my hair is very long and thick so sometimes the way it’s done starts to hurt because of the weight. And you know when your hair gets longer you eventually have to use more hair ties or loop it one more time. It’s a small but annoying struggle.
I never understood twisty buns because every time I used to do them I would have so many pieces sticking out from my layers. Or id accidentally let go of the twist and have to start over. Twisting long hair is a struggle sometimes.
Recently i gave twisty buns another try and LET ME TELL YOU HOW HAPPY I AM
Idk what’s different but none of my layers stick out. every strand is tucked perfectly in the bun. I’m even able to sit it on top of my head comfortably for hours without it feeling heavy.

again it may seem small but I’m at peace with my hair now ​

thats amazing to hear!!! I wanna try it too, i dont always have a hairband at hand and I dont like them

but its mostly old ladies who wear them here so i'd look old with that

I leaned them in my late teens because of gymnastics. They worked surprisingly well
