I know it can be so frustrating! I can tell you as a Daniel stan since the beginning. I know a lot of people assume he was popular from the beginning but Koreans actually cursed us international fans out for liking him and some other boys like Seongwu, you can see comments here, lmao. For Daniel, although he started at rank #23 I was frustrated because he remained there two weeks then moved to rank #12 so I guess he had it well but I also saw potential in him while Koreans didn't at first. He got good screentime due to his good nature but he also had some scandals like the 4 cat scandal and the one where they claimed several times that he smokes (dumbest shit ever because it was an ice cream stick) and even for his introduction video they claimed he smoked because he has such deep voice and he was ill but the truth was that for 3 days he was teaching other boys without proper rest.

And then he finished last in Sorry Sorry 2 team, with just 33 points. He said he wanted to quit because he was so embarrassed that no one would vote for him. I don't know if you know but Hyunbin won in that team and I remember Seongwu being all shady 'What did Hyunbin do to get this many votes?' It was all due to visuals at first and not because of talent. As you know now, Sorry Sorry cover is the most popular one from S2, they weren't called Justice League for no reason because 4 of them ended up debuting in W1. :)

And because of this, I'm 100% sure that eventually those we actually deem worthy, will make it.

Also here's post from S2 [enter-talk] 8 TRAINEES THAT ARE 99.9% SURE TO DEBUT ON PRODUCE101 Out of these listed 5 made it. The comments are kind of accurate too ', Jihoon is the only one 100%` secure, only thing he'll have to fight for is 1st place, cos Daniel seems to be the dark horse creeping up on him.' I don't know who is dark horse this season though? Maybe Suhwan, maybe Seungyeon? So I would just keep my eyes on them because they are charming.

Yes, there was! So there was this Avengers team that consisted mostly of the visuals and popular members that were picked by Daehwi

and they were against the team that had lesser known members but also NU'EST's Baekho and Guanlin

And in the end, although the second Boy In Luv team lost, they were considered a lot better

He got so much hate. They asked him to be kicked out of the show for cheating and some people were like 'Oh, he's getting away with it because of Ha Minho's sexual harassment scandal' that happened around the same time. Like ???. My boy didn't harass anyone sexually, he was just being babo.

Also Naver fan cams might give a good overview on who will make it. Or who's clearly liked by Koreans. But not necessarily (like in Samuel's case).

I have a same feeling, it's obvious that they're just trying to get the win, and not because they're extremely good or talented. It's better to lose but be a memorable team that people talk about years later, no one really talks about S2's Avengers team except if they want to drag Daehwi for being greedy, he really didn't know any better and in the end the only thing that worked in his favour was winning with that team. :/

I just hope they don't have another case of the Boombayah teams from last season. People tore into the losing team and most of their fancams are still overwhelming disliked compared to liked.

People really pushed the narrative they made fun of the weaker group but really all they did was choose them for an advantage which was actually multiple groups plans.

Whether it was Mnet's editing or the winning teams crazy fans that pushed the narrative idk. I just felt bad for the losing team because they got way too much hate.

But its also dudes though so they might just called competitive and everyone moves on

I still have huge issues with actually recognizing the trainees from each other so it's really hard to really form opinions of them and figure out who exactly I support xd In other hand, what's new, it's always like this..

So far Yuri the SM Model, Tony the chinese-canadian guy and Min Seo the mischievous looking blond who has no screen time- have caught my eye. It's not a lot, but it's a start of actually getting 11 to make those my Produce X picks graphs ^^;

I'm now half way in ep 3, I think when we finally get to more to performances and seeing more close ups of the guys stylished and seeing more of their individual skill sets I start being more on board with this and actually figuring who can do what and who just can't xd

ok ngl there was really nothing special about this performance, since the rapping parts are pretty hard to make it sound really nice, but the stage presence and expressions were p good 👌

I would have to see the performance as a whole to have a proper opinion on it though, and I can't wait to see the other performances~

Thoughts on fancams:

• oh my gosh Ziyue's fancam is soooo awkward but I kind of love it lmao
• I'm not sure what to think about Boss...I like the vocals of those singing Jungwoo & Doyoung's part but unsure about the rest
• The YG kid that isn't Mahiro had a really cute performance. Way better than the audition
• Minkyu is competing with Ziyue for most awkward fancam
• I don't think Sejin was as good as Seongyeon but I do see why people voted for him. He had great expressions.
• The vocals of the lullaby team
• I really like what i'm seeing/hearing with the Clap team
• The 7th Sense actually doesn't sound bad. But I think Jinwoo didn't know all the moves lol

I'm pretty bummed MAMA team didn't win, I liked their performance lot more. I really like tone of some of the vocalists, sounded so clear too. Rappers weren't good though, but I don't think Produce in general sees rap as important.
