What do you think the K-pop industry will look like 10 years from now? (1 Viewer)

I’m expecting the Y2K trend to die down and transition to a new sound.

The Y2K sound will be back in style.

i dont really know one assumption that bothers me is that people claim in the future, kpop artists will get younger and younger. jungkook debuted when he was 14! by that logic, we should have 4 year old kpop idols now !!!!!!

I think and hope the artifical age limit on girl groups will die and concepts that can support older girl groups will be developed.

Idols have always debuted young (BoA, Taemin, and Zelo are other examples) but it’s definitely more commonplace now than back then. But i still think they’re wrong anyways

i think it will be more popular and be mainstream.

probably more use of AI-generated content

more scandals - dating, CA, smoking, vaping, etc etc

in short the more things change the more they stay the same

And appologies... I'm sure there will be a few of those. "Jennie apologizes for having a sexy spine and promises to develop an severe case of slouching."

I think it has sealed itself for a few more years yet.
The korean wave is just getting started
