Introverts want to feel connected, but they prefer to make connections through authenticity. They may be energized by certain kinds of social situations, such as one-to-one connections and small gatherings. Introverts tend to observe and be thoughtful in how they relate to others, asking questions to get to know people better.

This is exactly me. I feel like I can connect with people if it's one on one it's more personal and I can easier to get to know someone without others influences for me​

I prefer one to one too. But I use a list of Qs as backup, I don't just ask whatever comes to mind. It says small groups too, but I don't like groups period.

I can't for the life of me come up with questions on the spot so I definitely relate to writing it down beforehand. Like you also said even small groups are not for me as well

I suppose I agree. Both one on one and group convos are hard for me, but I've definitely connected more one on one
