meds - when I went to Detroit to see MX, I was so excited for my first K-concert that I accidentally forgot my meds for the next morning. I had to go a whole day unmedicated bc it was like a four-hour drive away. lol

It can suck to forget them for a plane trip too. I didn’t take any on a trip with a layover because I expected it to be quick. Only issue: the second plane was delayed by 17 hours, so I had to stay overnight, and because it’s an airport half a sandwich cost like $13. But my options were either buy food for an absurd price or not eat at all

Did that too. It was only a 2 hour drive but we specifically drive them to beat the heavy traffic. And I had to go back because if I don’t take my night meds, I can get so sick I throw up. And it was a few days long period So I had to wake up at 5 am so we could beat the traffic to get back

You can usually bring food. It can depend on where you’re traveling and laws the have on bringing certain foods across international borders (such as fruits). And it’s a normal price at a lot of airports. Some states have laws preventing this though. The airport I stayed overnight at did not have these laws, but a few years later, the state introduced laws like this after a post showing their absurd prices went viral on Twitter. But that was after my time

Damaged passports or id's are the most common tho. Happens every year and people still don't know that a damaged document is not valid to travel

People really lack common sense I got lucky though because my expired passport was accepted both to enter the county and return home. No one batted an eye. Bonus is one of the border guys compared my photo on the passport to me currently and didn’t find anything off at all. I was 13 in the photo, and this happened when I was 23

last year, one of our company's agency had clients who tried to go to Bali with their id card. They went to the newspapers.

We had a guy a week before my vacation who didn't have a kids id for his baby and tried to put the blame on me.
He claimed he showed me the card (it was a card that's given to kids and people who work on the border, it's bascially like social security card). Never saw that card in my life.
I'm fairly certain he asked me what he needed and i replied "kids ID". He put in a complaint because they couldn't leave and dude thinks that the social security card is "the only valid card for babies". Dude, that's on you for not checking what a kids ID is.
Of course, we get yelled at, even if it's his fault
