I did during the middle of 4th grade. The school I switched to was literally walking distance from my house and we didn't even know. My mom thought it would be more convenient since they took away school buses during this time.

It was also easier to get into accelerated classes in this particular school

After sophomore year of high school. The new high school only had Juniors and Seniors in high school, it was a more specialized school

Not really, but kinda. My high school was somewhat unique meaning that we have years 1-4 in 3 different campuses and we would all go to a different campus for years 5-6.
My campus was outside the big city unlike the other 2 locations who were close to the other campus, so it was a bigger move for us then the students from the other locations
