Nuest found shipping fanfics of the group and said they read them. Can’t get worse than that, can it? The fans in the video (they were an audience, I forget details) yelled at them not to read those and they’re like “why? We like them”

oh god, I hope not lol I'd be absolutely mortified if TXT (or 5SOS for that matter) ever came across a fanfic of mine.

One time, I was scrolling through Twitter (I refuse to call it X!) when I came across a tweet from a talent show contestant I follow. I'd written a fanfic shipping together her and a male contestant from the same season. The tweet was tagging the guy I'd shipped her with and was like "hey, I found a fanfic about us" with screenshot after screenshot of MY fanfic! His reply was something like "no way wtf". idr exactly what he'd said, but it was something out of shock for sure, though lol that was my first AND last time writing a shipping fic!

Im sure they definetly do. I dont think many wouldnt care at all how big public sees them and the curiosity would be too powerful to resist
