My dad said that places like Alabama need to counter the rampant heterophobia and hatred towards cis people Im not from Alabama personally, but I expect that there are exactly 0 places where heterophobia and cis hatred outnumbers hatred towards LBGT people. But he honest to god believes it. When he first said it I was like what? Really? But now that he’s gotten more vocal about politics and social stuff he’s started spouting more and more stuff in that vein. So yay

a former friend of mine would complain that polish government cares more about ukrainians than about their own people and that "they're getting everything for free while we have to pay" also this isn't that serious but my mom is a huge fan of that rimtimdim song from eurovision so when it lost to a song performed by a non-binary artist she said that eurovision isn't about music anymore, only about lgbt representation, however she stopped saying that shit when i told her that last year an artist literally brought a rainbow flag to the opening and wasn't even in the top 3
