I realized i started listening to more disco pop songs xD

good thing many groups in kpop do disco too

i used to be this way too in like 2016-19, but then as i stopped following new kpop releases i became the opposite and now i prefer simple choreo that actually lets the performer sing live instead of prioritising intense choreo over anything and then delivering no vocals

I tend to listen to the best of both worlds according to my taste. K-Pop is a nice contrast, it expanded my musical horizon in unexpected dimensions. But I'd never stop listening to Japanese and Western music.



Many people like the old songs more because they are impregnated with their own memories. Music that is linked to emotional situations in our past works on another level. Many people miss the music of the past because they grow up with those songs. Our school years, our youth clique, the first car, the first love, the first sex - it's all linked to specific songs. Music that helped us through difficult times hits different too.
