Yeah there was one EP about the hot springs and I was like "nope" and skipped to the end lol. Like I said, there are quite a few plot holes and story line does get repetitive but idk, it's one of THOSE animes, you know? Like, the ones you know aren't all that good but still really like for some reason? Idek how to explain it lol.

Oh I thought it was gonna run for 24 eps this time round? I think some users were saying it in the Kissanime comment section. Not sure though.

Hmmm isekai plots are a hit or miss for me. I mean Shield Hero might have been a hit but I kinda got bored of Overlord. However, I did enjoy Log Horizon. I'll have to see ig. Is it more comedy centralized? Is it kinda like Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku Wo?

I get what u mean, with Shield Hero it's quite easy for me to list points I don't like about it, but it's still entertaining show to watch and some of eps have been just great.

I think it's probably speculation, I haven't seen any confirmation how long it will be. Fruits Basket 2001 had 26 episodes, but it covered just around one-third of the manga so I think it will definitely be long. I'm not just sure if it's going to be separated into seasons and how many there will be ^^;

It's more comedy focused and seem to use gimmick that the protagonist is OP a lot so I would say it's similar as The time i got reincarnated as slime.

I don't think I'll ever be able to get over just how badly they messed up with Aldnoah.Zero. I remember thinking, "OMG, masterpiece" when I first started watching it, but then it fizzled out so much. There were some genuinely powerful moments all throughout the series, which clawed at my insides, made me laugh, etc., but most of it was just... bad. I really think it could've been a masterpiece, honestly TT On the other hand, though, it has some of my favorite music in all of anime. Yuki Kajiura, and Hiroyuki Sawano especially, really went all out with it, and Kalafina, Mizuki, and Mika Kobayashi really gave it their all too, vocal-wise.

Ah that's worrying. I have been looking forward to starting it, it's one of my favorite writers too, Urobochi Gen and he rarely goes wrong.

After putting it on-hold for a long time, I've finally watched Paprika and oof... Satoshi Kon... you're a great and iconic director and all but that wasn't it. The art and animation were gorgeous though. It definitely felt like a psychedelic experience.

When she said, "This reminds me of Yu-gi-oh" I laughed because that's exactly what I said to myself when I started part 3. I was like wth is this. Such an abrupt transition from hamon to personal duel monsters. lmao

All caught up with Shield Hero! Only 5 more episodes left to air! Episode 20 seems to have wrapped up a lot so I don't know what they're going to do for 5 more episodes. Like, it seems another episode would be enough. Maybe they're planning on a season 2 and will start a new arc within these 5 eps.

I felt quite similarly at some point, just same old tropes, awful female characters, I didn't watch anything in around year, but then Yuri on Ice happened and nowadays I watch tons. I think the trick of finding better female characters is simply avoid shounen. There is quite lot of good one's even last year that focused more female characters and not in sexual way including Violet Evergarden, Hinamatsuri and Zombieland Saga. It's just bit harder to find anime if you don't want any oversexualisation of girls nor dansel in mistress plots, but not impossible ^^

I wouldn't call it boring. It is pretty slow and chill though. It takes patience to watch it. But, I guarantee you'll be in awe with it's animation.
