always have been i have a fever (or something like it) and last night i woke up at 3am randomly; i went to go get water from the fridge and i had to turn on my room's light, the bathroom light (which is next to my room), my phone flashlight and, once i got there, my kitchen's light after that i also left my phone flashlight on the whole night to not be in the complete dark

I’m not but I am cautious with movement ofc because I just know that one day I’ll sprain my ankle for something by stepping on an object I didn’t see or whatever

im glad all my childhood toys are locked away because i would definitely have stepped on 3 already

depends on the situation more than the darkness itself.
like, when I`m in an enviroment I know (like my home) I`m not afraid, but me alone in the woodz at night without anybody around? yeah, for sure.

Only occasionally, but it's more so me being afraid of getting murdered or my dad sneaking into the house somehow

@nieve it was definitely a struggle when my youngest brother was really young because toys would be everywhere (he’s 14 years younger). When I went anywhere without lights I’d go very slow and usually tap the ground in front or drag my feet to avoid stepping on things

I used to be, but now I can't sleep unless it's completely dark. Navigating in the dark, however, creeps me out to no end!

No bit it sounds like what I'd do if no one is around nearby or their room doors are completely closed hell nah am I going out in the dark, voldy could be out there for all I know
