She has gotten lot of hate comments recently and I heard that she also left comments refering these hate comments she got before this. Of course there is other things too, that others have speculated, but hate comments do affect celebrities mental health as they do with any persons.

People justify that though with "they don't actually read our comments" ofc they read your comments and it's a poor excuse regardless to justify being a horrible person.

True, hate comments might not be the main trigger, but they definitely make things worse, especially when you're already in a fragile state.

If you are in good state, have your support system working and confidence in yourself I don't think hate comments affect u that much, but if u are already having hard time they can be harder to deal with and you might start to believe what they are saying.
