One time I was in a psych ward and it was really easy to hear others conversations with doctors. One time, at maybe 2-3 AM, I heard a lady having conversations with the doctor (over video). I really wanted to sleep but they were really loud so I couldn’t. And then the doctor asked if that lady has homicidal thoughts to which the lady gave a confident yes Like great, I’m sorry she’s having issues but I don’t want to be in the same hallway as a lady who’s always screaming at others and has homicidal thoughts. I was crabby before for a variety of reasons and that didn’t help I don’t fully get why they couldn’t find a more private place for those things, even if she wasn’t having those thoughts the loud conversations didn’t help me sleep anyways.

I was at the hairdresser's once, waiting for my mom to get her hair done, and this lady was talking about her medical troubles (I forget what it was now bc it was so long ago). I couldn't STAND it! I had to go outside just so I wouldn't have to hear this lady basically expose herself in front of the whole salon.

It’s not common here but I did recently overhear an old lady ask the people with her “does that look like shingles to you?” i was confused if she had nothing better to do in a museum then discuss her potential shingles, but apparently she didn’t.
